This role is responsible for supervising and overseeing environmental, health, and safety (ehs) operations at a single manufacturing plant, with potential support to ehs activities at other sites as needed.
the position partners closely with site operations, the ehs team, and regional ehs leadership to ensure compliance with global, regional, and plant-level ehs standards.
the role serves as the site subject matter expert for all ehs-related matters.
what you'll do · partner with ehs team members and plant operations to develop and execute site-specific ehs implementation plans.
· communicate ehs risks and improvement opportunities to plant and regional leadership.
· maintain working knowledge of applicable international, federal, state, local, and corporate ehs requirements.
· lead the implementation of plant ehs programs and processes.
· promote strong ehs awareness and ownership through site-wide communication strategies.
· validate ehs program implementation across all organizational levels.
· review documentation for large projects to identify potential ehs risks.
· oversee ehs technical, leadership, and process training for all employees.
· track and communicate ehs performance metrics such as audits, incidents, and training.
· lead incident investigation and trend analysis, ensuring root cause and preventive actions.
· represent the ehs function in capital and budget approvals.
· collaborate with regional ehs teams to address site capability gaps.
· ensure timely escalation of critical ehs issues.
· perform other assigned duties in compliance with ehs procedures.

additional requirements · minimum of 3 years of ehs experience in a manufacturing environment.
