role overview
responsible for providing analytical, reporting, and performance insights for the walmart business in puerto rico, enabling data-driven decision making and driving continuous improvement across sales, assortment, pricing and promotion.
responsibilities
top 5 core responsibilities / outcomes expected
analyze walmart performance by tracking sales, share, distribution, oos, pricing and promotional kpis to identify r&os.
develop actionable insights and recommendations to support customer strategies, jbp and execution priorities.
build and maintain performance dashboards and reports to enable clear visibility and timely decision making for the key stakeholders.
support planning and forecasting processes including promo plans, assortment changes and volume projections ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
strong support for the sales team within wm systems and managing insights from scintilla.
other applicable scope defining dimensions
dedicated analytical support for puerto rico.
interface with walmart systems, reports and scorecards.
contribution to customer meetings, business reviews, and planning sessions.
knowledge, skills & abilities
strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
understanding of retail kpis (sales, margin, inventory, promotions, oos, etc.)
advanced excel and reporting skills (power bi); experience with dashboards and analytic tools
strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
ability to structure clear stories from complex data sets.
effective communication and presentation skills.
experience & education
bachelor´s degree in business, economics, finance, marketing, analytics or related field.
1-2 yeas of experience in sales analytics, commercial analysis or customer support roles.
walmart experience preferred
fluent in english (advanced level)
