We are seeking an experienced sap enterprise asset manager (eam) consultant with expertise in the beer industry to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your deep technical knowledge and industry-specific insights to optimize sap eam systems for our clients in the brewing sector. You will work closely with key stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into actionable strategies that drive efficiency and performance across asset management processes.
key responsibilities:
* industry-specific client engagement: develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the beer industry, including operations, production, and maintenance teams. Lead workshops to gather requirements and provide ongoing support throughout the lifecycle of the project.
* end-to-end solution design & delivery: take charge of solution design for sap eam, ensuring that the needs of beer production facilities are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, production, warehouse management, etc.) to deliver integrated, industry-specific sap solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
* asset management process improvement: utilize your expertise in the beer industry to identify areas for improvement in asset management, production equipment maintenance, and plant performance. Introduce sap innovations and best practices tailored to brewing operations.
* project management & quality assurance: lead the delivery of high-quality project outcomes, ensuring that timelines, risks, and budgets are managed effectively. Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on project progress and outcomes.
* training & post-go-live support: support training initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of sap eam by brewery teams. Offer post-go-live support to guarantee continued system success and optimize the long-term benefits of sap solutions.
skills & attributes for success:
* industry-specific expertise: demonstrate a deep understanding of the beer industry, including production processes, maintenance practices, and the unique challenges faced by breweries in managing their assets.
* sap eam expertise: possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with sap enterprise asset management (eam), plant maintenance (pm), and other relevant sap modules. Stay current with emerging sap functionalities that can improve beer production and asset management processes.
* leadership & client management: develop strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in the beer industry, providing strategic insights to improve asset performance, maintenance schedules, and operational uptime.
* cross-functional collaboration: work seamlessly across teams (production, procurement, warehouse management, supply chain, and others) to design and implement integrated solutions that streamline operations and maximize asset utilization in the brewery environment.
* bilingual communication: strong written and verbal communication skills in both english and spanish, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse, non-technical stakeholders.
qualifications:
* experience: at least 8 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in sap asset management (pm)/enterprise asset management (eam) within the beer or beverage industry.
* education: a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
* project management: demonstrated experience in managing sap projects or workstreams, particularly in industries like brewing or food & beverage.
* industry knowledge: in-depth understanding of asset management principles and practices in the context of brewing and beverage production.
preferred qualifications:
* sap experience: experience with sap s/4hana or sap ecc, with multiple end-to-end implementations in the beer or beverage sector.
* sap fiori: familiarity with sap fiori for enhanced user experience and interface customization.
* certifications: sap certifications or related qualifications are highly valued.
* cmms: familiarity with cmms (computerized maintenance management systems) as they relate to the beer industry's needs.
* other sap tools: experience with sap business network asset collaboration or sap asset performance management, particularly for the brewing sector, is a significant advantage.
