A board certified or board eligible physician in surgery is needed to establish a specialty practice in breast surgery. The selected individual will participate in a range of activities including scholarly activity, faculty development, patient safety and quality improvement initiatives, and preparation of didactics for residents and medical students.
applicants must have a md or do degree with board certification in general surgery or board eligibility, a valid texas medical license, and a completed general surgery residency from an accredited program and completion of a breast surgery fellowship. Additionally, they should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with diverse groups of people and maintain a professional educational environment conducive to educating residents and medical students.
