role: public area attendant
responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and presentation in all public areas of the resort (lobby, hallways, restrooms, event rooms, elevators, etc.), ensuring a pleasant, hygienic, and welcoming environment for guests, visitors, and staff.
key responsibilities:
* daily cleaning of public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, event rooms, elevators, stairs, and entrances.
* restocking supplies in public restrooms (toilet paper, soap, towels, etc.).
* collecting and disposing of waste in designated bins.
* polishing surfaces, doors, handrails, mirrors, windows, and floors according to resort standards.
* reporting damages, maintenance needs, or hazards to supervisors.
* assisting with cleaning before, during, and after special events.
* following safety, hygiene, and cleaning product protocols.
* supporting other cleaning tasks as needed.
* reporting lost objects per the lost and found procedures.
requirements:
* secondary education or equivalent experience.
* minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
* knowledge of quality standards and chemical products.
* experience of over one year in a luxury hotel or similar setting is valued.
* excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* ability to work safely, carefully, and organized.
*applicants must have valid work authorization in mexico, and fluency in spanish is essential.*
