responsibilities
* define objectives, plans, and programs; coordinate schedules and deliver training on key areas such as ohs dashboards, waste management, personal protective equipment, chemical handling, ohs commissions, contractor management, and risk assessment. Act as an ehs business partner (ehsbp) within an assigned area, coordinating activities, implementing sme plans, delivering training, gathering data, and conducting inspections to ensure safety standards compliance.
* write and implement global ehs frameworks in collaboration with the ehs manager.
* lead occupational injuries and illness prevention efforts.
* coordinate the waste management system.
* coordinate ohs commission activities.
* report monthly dashboards for cos and hq.
* develop global programs for ppe, hazardous materials handling, contractors’ management, ohs commission, machinery safety, and accident investigation.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, or environmental engineering.
* 3–6 years of related experience.
* course or diploma in occupational health and safety.
* experience with management system administration (pdca, continuous improvement, optimization, resources management).
* experience working in cross-functional teams, particularly between ehs and other functions.
* strong discipline, action-oriented mindset, and familiarity with emergency preparedness and response systems.
* proficiency with microsoft windows environment.
* english proficiency required; cefr c1/c2 tested.
* competencies: critical thinking, communication, teamwork, client orientation, problem solving, and decision making.
