Position responsibilities:record and maintain entries in the general ledgerensure sub-ledgers are reconciled to the general ledgercompile and contribute to or generate corporate/internal monthly financial statements and other related financial reportsensure compliance with corporate reporting requirementsanalyze and recap preliminary various balance sheet and expense accountsmaintain and ensure the proper recording of fixed asset transactions in the fixed assets softwarecalculate and contribute to analysis of monthly depreciation and gains/losses on sales of fixed assetsmaintain capital equipment budget and related depreciation forecastensure proper application of sales and use taxesreconcile bank statements for various cash accountsassimilate and prepare data for journal entries related to customer non-recurring engineering activitiesestablish and maintain an effective working relationship with operations, purchasing, and accounting functionsparticipate in the preparation of forecasts and reports for cost, sales, income, bookings, backlog, manpower, material and other related dataprepare information to be used in the development and monitoring of departmental labor and expense budgetsaccountable to perform all duties and tasks assigned and any other duty that may be required by the department or the organizationresponsible to establish clear measurable objectives & goals in alignment with department and site kpi's and the achievement of organizational goals.demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism.proven ability to complete projects in a timely mannerability to work successfully as an individual or on teamslevel: 4 year accounting degree or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management.0-2 years related experience; working knowledge of spreadsheet applications; general ledger experience in a manufacturing environment preferred: entry level professional#j-18808-ljbffr
