job summary
the trade analyst will be based in guadalajara north campus, reporting to the trade analyst.
this role is responsible for global trade compliance activities including training, policy enforcement, regulatory tracking, and ensuring industry best practices are implemented in accordance with flex compliance procedures.
what a typical day looks like:
* basic understanding of import/export laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
* development and delivery of trade compliance policy framework, procedures, and processes.
* deliver specific training programs as required by the manager.
* participate in projects to drive strategies and initiatives at regional and site levels, including global trade cost savings initiatives.
* conduct transactional reviews and audits of import/export records; consolidate, research, evaluate issues, and recommend corrections.
* partner with and manage the integration of new business, mergers, and acquisitions.
* establish and maintain relationships with internal and external partners such as operations, purchasing, logistics, material planning, and transportation vendors.
* assist with investigations, assessments, and corrective actions to address findings, ensuring timely completion.
* administer audit and assessment results.
* utilize it solutions and communication platforms to support trade compliance programs.
the experience we’re looking to add to our team:
* bachelor's degree in international business or related fields.
* knowledge of incoterms and tariffs.
* intermediate to advanced proficiency in english.
* proficiency in microsoft office.
