Overview
The Business Analysis Senior Supervisor is an intermediate management-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a business analysis team (consisting of support staff and/or entry-level analysts) with responsibilities including work allocation, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, and other duties as assigned
- Improve process efficiencies in support of unit objectives and recommend new work procedures
- Ensure resource gaps are addressed as a priority to avoid business service disruption
- Support quality and control function, including performing risk assessments/tests and evaluating process procedure changes
- Work as a team to achieve objectives and solve problems based on analysis of information
- Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedent
- Apropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Proven ability to manage a diverse project portfolio
Education
- Bachelor\'s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Additional Requirements
Experience in technology budgeting between 5 and 15 million dollars. Proficiency with Citi Banamex budgeting tools. Economic-Administrative degree or equivalent. Advanced Excel. Ideally experience with macros. Proficient in Office. Advanced English. Experience in budget management (essential). Preferably in technology-related topics.
