Vice president & general manager (country manager) – mexico operations kensington international is partnering with a us-based, global, engineering-driven manufacturer to identify a vice president & general manager to lead its mexico operations. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing a rapidly scaling manufacturing facility in monterrey. The opportunity our client has recently established a strategic manufacturing operation in mexico to support accelerating customer demand and global growth. The business is entering a period of significant expansion, with plans to rapidly scale revenue and headcount. This leader will have full responsibility for site performance and will play a critical role in building a world-class operation, driving operational excellence while scaling people, processes, and culture. Key responsibilities lead all plant operations including production, engineering, quality, supply chain, and maintenance own performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity scale the organization to support rapid growth while maintaining high standards drive lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and execution discipline lead complex manufacturing processes including pcba / smt ensure compliance with customer, quality, and regulatory requirements (including immex) partner closely with u.s.-based leadership on strategy and financial performance build, develop, and retain a high-performing, engaged team ideal candidate profile must be legally authorized to work in the united states proven senior leadership experience in electronics expertise in pcba / smt operations strongly preferred experience operating in u.s.–mexico manufacturing environments track record of successfully scaling operations (capacity, team, systems) strong operational and financial acumen hands-on leader with a bias for action and accountability fluent in english and spanish why this role opportunity to lead a mission-critical operation during a period of rapid growth high visibility with executive leadership and direct impact on global strategy meaningful capital investment and strong demand tailwinds ability to shape culture, team, and long-term operational footprint in mexico location monterrey, mexico (paid relocation offered)
