Overview:this leadership role oversees the financial operations of our manufacturing facility in mexico.
as a senior controller, you will be responsible for leading a team to manage all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.key responsibilities:manage financial accounting, reporting, and internal controls ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with ifrs and gaaplead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes working closely with finance teamspartner with auditors and stakeholders to manage auditsensure proper costing methodologies and inventory valuationmonitor and optimize working capital focusing on accounts receivable and payablelead cash flow forecasting and management including identifying risks and recommending mitigation actionsanalyze and monitor inventory levels and cost trends work with operations to drive efficiencyimplement and enforce internal controls ensuring proper segregation of duties and authorization workflowscoordinate tax filings and external reporting with advisorssupport the integration of financial systems and banking controls in line with group policiesprepare and review budgets and forecasts explain deviations and propose corrective actionsqualifications:bachelor's degree in accounting or financemexican public accountant certification preferredminimum 4 years of audit experience followed by hands-on controllership experience in a manufacturing environmentstrong technical knowledge of ifrs and mexican gaapexcellent erp and excel skills prior experience with ms d365 f&o preferredexperience coordinating auditsproven success leading finance teams in a factory settingstrong understanding of internal controls and compliance requirementscomfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholdershigh integrity strong sense of accountability and solutions-oriented mindsetexcellent communication skills in spanish and englishstrong leadership presence with collaborative attitude and sense of urgencythis role offers an opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership position at a multinational manufacturing group.
