responsibilities
* coordinate the elements of the internal company management system
* create, maintain, and follow up on health, safety and environment programs in accordance with and following the legal requirements, corporate or other that apply, once defined, and authorized by the company.
* coordinate accident investigation to obtain the root cause and prevent similar accidents.
* supervise the routines and instructions of plant protection personnel to ensure the physical integrity of the building and its occupants.
* update safety metrics based on oshas and internal corporate standards.
* manage closure of findings derived from daily trips, audits, near-miss and accidents
* obtain the necessary environmental documentation for hazardous waste shipment procedures, licenses or permits that are required depending on the operation
* carry out daily visits to the environment, health and industrial safety based on a weekly program, giving punctual follow-up with the group to timely close the findings found and prevent accidents in the plant.
* to comply, implement and follow up on the inspections carried out by government agencies, as well as to prepare environmental, safety or health control reports.
* manage all the studies and monitoring required by semarnat, civil protection, stps to comply with the law and improve the working conditions of the plant.
requirements
* industrial engineer, mechanical, chemical, bachelor/engineer in safety or related.
* experience in a similar position, emergency brigades, fire and rescue operations, safety, and hygiene commissions, etc.
* advanced english.
* preferred: knowledge of ehs quality systems and regulations.
* preferential management of preventive health programs (vaccination, medical exams).
* preferred experience in accident investigation and risk assessment.
