Pomellato is part of kering, a global luxury group, managing the development of a series of renowned houses in the sectors of fashion, leather goods, jewellery and watches.job descriptionour opportunity:we are currently looking for a boutique manager for our palacio de hierro - polanco flagship location, who will drive sales, motivate sales staff, establish and maintain customer service, and is accountable for the operation of the store ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandise, inventory, expense control, human resources management, training and supervising staff.how you will contribute:sales:drive the achievement of store's sales and kpi targets established by senior managementfunctions as role model to staff by performing all store functions as necessary, demonstrating professional demeanor and disciplined work habits, as well as promoting positive attitudes toward customersmotivates the team and contributes personally to building client relationships throughout every step, from recruitment to outreach activitiesensure that the exceptional pomellato client experience is provided throughout every interactionprovides a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every client, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer serviceestablish personal sales goals for staff and monitor sales performancebuild a network of people and clients who have an impact on the local and international market in order to develop client baseminimizes client complaints through effective customer service in accordance with store policy work with the retail manager & retail performance manager in developing and implementing plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectivesoperations:maintains store standards in accordance with corporate policy. Receives and examines deliveries for discrepancies and resolves problems promptlygenerate ongoing market intelligence; work with the merchandiser to ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise adjacencies and presentations; signing, and assortment in all departments; ensure selling floor is adequately stockedmaintains and stocks inventory, and prices products according to pricing as set forth by the corporate officereports any theft or suspected theft by clients or employees to the appropriate parties immediatelycoordinates employee consignments for approval. Oversees employee purchase transactionsbe cost conscioushuman resources:ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk-through and audits, etc.continually evaluate and react to performance issues and actively recruit sales candidates. Train and develop sales executives in all aspects of the business; direct and monitor training and development for all store personnelpartner with human resources department in employees annual performance reviewsinstructs store staff regarding job responsibilities on an ongoing basis. This includes coordinating shipments, repairs, and supply ordering as well as daily duties in the storeprovides sufficient staffing for store needs at all times. All potential new staff must also be interviewed and approved by corporateprepares and submits time schedules as prescribed by corporate policy. Approves payroll and all time-off requests on a bi-weekly basis. Submits commissions to the finance department on a monthly basis. Maintain a pipeline of qualified talent through networkingmarketing:collaborate with the retail and marketing team to develop market relevant activitiesidentify possible opportunities with community outreach programs and share with retail and marketing departmentperforms other related duties as assignedthe boutique manager is the primary point of contact for the store and must be readily available for both corporate and the store employees. The store manager must also be available to handle emergency calls involving any possible alarms at the store. Who you are:excellent oral and written communication skills 5-8 years retail supervisory experience; luxury a plus self-starter with a proactive attitudeteam –oriented worker with excellent interpersonal skills for interacting and networking with customers and senior managementability to work varied scheduled, including weekends and holidayscustomer relations and customer service professionalpreferred skillscomputer literacy – word, excel, powerpointpomellato is committed to building a diverse workforce.
