engineer responsible for developing the electromechanical engineering of electrical substations
, ensuring the proper design of primary and secondary equipment, protection systems, control, and auxiliary services in accordance with international standards and regulations.
responsibilities
develop basic and detailed engineering for ais and gis substations.
design and review protection, control, scada systems, panels, and cabling.
select and specify primary equipment (transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, cts, pts).
prepare single-line and three-line diagrams, control schematics, and bills of materials.
coordinate with civil, structural, and communications disciplines.
ensure compliance with ieee, iec, nec standards, and client requirements.
support fat, sat, commissioning, and energization activities.
participate in technical meetings in english with clients and global teams.
requirements:
requirements
electrical or electromechanical engineering degree.
professional engineer (pe) certification preferred.
minimum 5–10 years of experience in substation projects.
advanced english required for meetings and technical documentation.
proficiency with electrical design and calculation tools.
ability to work on international projects.
