We are seeking a seasoned pharmacy specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in optimizing epic willow modules for inpatient and retail pharmacy workflows.
this role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure safe medication management, system enhancements, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include:
* providing operational support for willow inpatient and ambulatory modules.
* troubleshooting medication ordering, dispensing, and inventory issues.
* configuring medication records, formulary, order sets, and decision support rules.
* managing interfaces with pyxis, omnicell, and wholesaler systems, as well as supporting hl7 messaging.
* participating in upgrades, testing, and workflow validation.
* documenting configurations and validation results according to it standards.
to be successful in this role, the pharmacy specialist must possess the following qualifications:
* bachelor's degree in pharmacy, health it, or a related field (pharmd/rph preferred).
* epic willow inpatient certification is required, while willow ambulatory certification is preferred.
* 4-8 years of experience in epic willow support.
* knowledge of pharmacy workflows, inventory management, and regulatory standards.
* familiarity with epic hyperspace and interface engines (bridges, cloverleaf).
