Job purpose
support and coordinate warehouse or distribution center operations by ensuring operational efficiency, kpi compliance, safety standards, customer service levels, and inventory accuracy. Contribute to the smooth inbound and outbound flow of goods through hands‑on leadership, process discipline, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
key responsibilities
* coordinate and monitor inbound, outbound, receiving, storage, picking, shipping, and inventory control activities.
* ensure compliance with sla commitments, productivity targets, safety standards, quality requirements, and inventory accuracy kpis.
* track daily operational performance and elevate deviations in a timely manner.
* supervise operational teams of 40 to 120 employees, including team leaders and supervisors.
* support training, onboarding, attendance control, performance follow‑up, and operational discipline.
* promote a strong safety culture, teamwork, and engagement on the warehouse floor.
* participate in process improvement projects, line balancing initiatives, and layout optimization.
* analyze operational indicators to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
* support the implementation and effective use of warehouse systems and reporting tools (wms, dashboards, operational reports).
* support the monitoring of operational costs, labor utilization, and consumables.
* follow up on resource usage in line with the assigned budget and productivity targets.
* ensure daily operations comply with internal procedures, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
* support internal and external audits related to quality, safety, and compliance.
* promote 5s, safety programs, and good warehousing practices.
* solid understanding of operational kpis (productivity, inventory accuracy, otif, service level).
* hands‑on experience with wms; basic knowledge of sap, tms, or similar systems is a plus.
* intermediate excel skills; familiarity with power bi or reporting tools is desirable.
* strong operational leadership, analytical thinking, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
* results‑driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast‑paced environments.
