responsibilities
* oversee the overall direction of the otd control department ensuring strategic, efficient, and comprehensive standards are implemented.
* direct and coordinate the operations and objectives of the department in line with the overall organization's goals.
* design, implement and manage financial controls in relation to otd operations.
* review and prepare yearly financial statements and reports, overseeing the quality and timely delivery of these reports.
* work closely with other department heads to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
* prepare and present financial analyses, forecasts, and budgets as required for decision making purposes.
* ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws regarding operations and business transactions.
* drive continual process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of otd control functions.
* create a rigorous and disciplined accounting process that ensures data accuracy and integrity.
* develop strong collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication and encouraging continual process improvements.
* lead, motivate, and support the otd controllership team, ensuring effective management and development of team members.
* assess and mitigate risks the organization may face, ranging from financial, operational, to reputational risk.
qualifications
* academic achievement with a minimum of a master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or other related fields. Recognitions such as an mba, cpa, cma, or other internationally renowned certifications are welcomed.
* proven track record of success in authoritative executive‐level finance positions for at least 5 years, demonstrating proficient skills in overseeing and implementing financial and controlling functions in the pertinent industry.
