Your job:
as an engineering test professional, you will design and develop innovative test fixtures and equipment, troubleshoot and repair existing systems, and lead maintenance and improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality production standards. You will analyze statistical data to identify root causes of yield issues and collaborate across multiple divisions to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

you will be part of the dss division located in guadalajara, working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams. Our group is committed to maintaining top-tier test processes and equipment reliability, emphasizing leadership, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration.
what you will do:
- design, construct, and maintain test fixtures and equipment to support production needs.
- analyze and repair test equipment, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
- develop and document preventive maintenance plans aligned with production schedules.
- use programming skills to develop and enhance test software.
- actively lead and participate in cross-divisional meetings and conferences.
- monitor and maintain key performance indicators (kpis) to ensure quality standards.
- support 5s, ehs, quality, and lean initiatives by recommending improvements and adhering to best practices.
- manage and mentor technical personnel, ensuring team alignment and productivity.
who you are (basic qualifications):
- bachelor's degree in electronic engineering or equivalent experience.
- minimum of 5 years experience in test engineering or a related field.
- proficient in programming across various test platforms.
- strong knowledge of test equipment, electronic instruments, and schematic interpretation.
- fluent in english.

- experience managing functional and ict teams.
- familiarity with design software for pcbs (e.g., orcad).
- skilled in project leadership, quoting, and managing new product initiatives.
- adept at implementing engineering changes to test equipment.
- experience with software and firmware management and pilot run execution.
