are you a relationship-driven sales professional with a strategic mindset and deep understanding of manufacturing? sierra aluminum is looking for a regional account manager to help us grow key customer relationships and drive sustainable, long-term business across our core capabilities: casting, extrusion, finishing, thermal enhancement, and fabrication.
what you’ll do
* own and manage regional key accounts — from initial contact to long-term partnership.
* qualify potential clients and ensure alignment with sierra aluminum’s production capabilities.
* prepare pricing proposals, coordinate pre-sales engineering efforts, and support customer negotiations.
* work with internal teams (credit, customer service, quality) to support client needs and ensure smooth operations.
* stay ahead of market trends and industry developments.
* represent sierra at customer facilities and industry events.
* ensure accounts remain profitable while supporting high-volume production.
* provide accurate sales forecasting and support marketing surveys.
what we’re looking for
* proven experience in business development, sales, or account management roles.
* strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
* technical understanding of manufacturing processes is a strong plus.
* experience in customer support or inside sales is a bonus.
* proficiency with microsoft office (excel, word, powerpoint, outlook).
* strong time management, attention to detail, and a self-driven attitude.
* bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or related field.
* willingness to travel and represent sierra at client sites and events.
work environment
* office-based with flexibility depending on project or client needs.
* regular business hours, with adaptability for travel and key deadlines.
* travel required across the assigned region.
