Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Software QA Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications through comprehensive testing strategies, automation, and performance validation.
Key Responsibilities Testing & Quality Assurance
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans for web applications, mobile applications, and APIs (REST and gRPC)
- Perform functional testing to validate application features and user workflows
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues
- Execute performance testing to ensure applications meet scalability and response time requirements
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and track defects through resolution
Technical Documentation
- Create detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and testing procedures
- Document defects with clear reproduction steps and expected vs. actual results
- Maintain testing artifacts and ensure knowledge sharing across the team
Test Automation
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard tools, including Selenium and Playwright
- Maintain and enhance existing automated test scripts to ensure reliability and coverage
Required Qualifications Technical Skills
- Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies
- Knowledge of web and mobile application testing best practices
- Experience testing REST APIs and gRPC services
- Apply analytical thinking to investigate, reproduce, and clearly document software issues, ensuring detailed and actionable defect reports
Professional Experience
- Experience developing comprehensive test cases and test plans
- Demonstrated ability to perform functional, exploratory, and performance testing
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Detailed knowledge of database testing and SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and services on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration testing
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.)
- Understanding of mobile testing frameworks and device testing
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Hands-on experience with QA automation tools, particularly Selenium and Playwright
- Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems and command-line operations
