* adhere to ssab pricing strategies and policies to meet sales and margin targets, maximizing profitability.
* manage inventory and material orders to ensure timely customer supply, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
* participate in sales meetings and trade shows to represent products, fostering strong industry connections and partnerships.
* formulate short-term and long-term sales strategies for the region while supporting the hardox wearparts network participating in wearpart fabrication for the segment in mexico, driving business success and growth.
* collaborate with other regional sales managers (rsms) to share key market information such as pricing, competitor insights, and market status, staying ahead of industry trends.
* prepare and submit weekly sales highlight reports, providing valuable insights and metrics for business decision-making.
* keep salesforce activities current, updating customer profiles, interactions, and follow-up records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer data.
* complete and submit expense reports, maintaining transparency and accountability in financial management.
* maintain regular contact with departments such as inside sales, import-export, credit, supply chain, technical, and marketing, fostering strong team collaboration and communication.
requirements
to succeed in this role, you should have:
o an engineering bachelor's degree with sales experience in a related product field or exhibit skills developed in other positions, demonstrating relevant knowledge and expertise.
o knowledge of market dynamics relative to the steel business, including trends, competitors, and market conditions.
o responsibility for large accounts, including interacting with upper management & purchasing departments, showcasing leadership and negotiation skills.
o knowledge of manage dealers or distributors, highlighting ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
o strong communication skills - oral and written, ability to write proposals and develop strong interpersonal relationships, ensuring effective collaboration and partnership-building.
o proficient in english language – both oral and written, enabling seamless communication and interaction with diverse stakeholders.
o availability to travel 60% of the time, requiring flexibility and adaptability in work arrangements.
