responsibilities(depending on level)
* support food preparation following menus, recipes, and company standards
* cook and plate dishes according to assigned section (cold, hot, bakery, pastry, grill, etc.)
* maintain cleanliness and organization in workstations
* follow strict usph, sanitation, and food safety guidelines
* assist with inventory, food rotation, and temperature checks
* wash, sanitize, and maintain galley equipment (for utility galley)
* work efficiently during busy service periods
* collaborate with multicultural teams in a dynamic environment
* uphold professional grooming and kitchen etiquette at all times

* chef portfolio (photos of dishes) highly recommended
requirements
minimum 1–2 years of recent culinary experience (restaurants, hotels, catering, bakeries, pastry shops, etc.)
knowledge of food safety, haccp, and basic kitchen operations
english level: basic to intermediate (enough to follow instructions)
ability to work in high-pressure and fast-paced kitchens
strong work ethic, punctuality, and discipline
ability to work onboard for 6–8 month contracts
team-player attitude and willingness to learn
preferred skills
* experience in 4–5 star hotels or fine dining
* knowledge of specialized kitchen areas (pastry, bakery, butchery, etc.)
* previous cruise ship experience (plus, not required)
* culinary school certification (optional)
