the quest:
* collaborate with artists, designers, and programmers to develop and implement efficient technical solutions within unity.
* lead the integration of 2d assets, animations, and visual effects, ensuring they are optimized for performance and quality.
* design and maintain custom tools, scripts, and shaders to streamline workflows and enhance the art production pipeline.
* optimize assets by managing sprite atlases, texture sizes, and rendering techniques to ensure smooth performance.
* implement and refine ui elements, including animations and transitions, to create a polished and engaging user experience.
* act as a bridge between art and engineering, troubleshooting issues and facilitating seamless communication.
* stay ahead of the curve by researching new unity features, tools, and industry trends to drive innovation and elevate the game's visuals.
the skills:
* 5–7 years of experience in the game industry, with at least 3–5 years in a dedicated technical artist role.
* exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills in english, supported by a portfolio showcasing technical art expertise.
* proficiency with version control systems like git and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative development environment.
* extensive experience with 2d animation pipelines, including lip-sync technologies and unity integrations.
* deep knowledge of the spine animation library and its integration within unity.
* strong programming skills in c#, with expert-level understanding of the unity game engine.
* advanced proficiency with the unity ui pipeline, including animations and transitions.
* extensive experience with the dotween library and its integration within unity.
