role
you edit real estate youtube videos that generate leads, build trust, and drive millions in sales for our clients. Direct-to-camera, area tours, market updates, agent expertise. You take raw footage and turn it into something people actually watch to the end.
you'll work within a pod under a youtube manager, alongside strategists, writers, and designers. You're not working in a vacuum. You're part of a production system that ships 4 videos per client per month across 15+ clients per pod.

responsibilities
* edit and deliver 2 videos per week during your 60-day trial, ramping to 3+ per week once fully onboarded. Consistent 72-hour turnaround times.
* qc your own work against our editing checklist before submitting. Your manager shouldn't be catching mistakes you could have caught yourself.
* communicate daily, promptly, and often. If you go quiet, that's a problem.
* report progress daily and align priorities to maintain seamless workflows.
* conduct retention reviews on your edits. What held attention, what didn't, and what you're changing next time.
* conduct competitor analysis and trend research to stay ahead of what's working on youtube right now.
* keep project files and asset management organized and up to date. If someone else needs to find your files, they should be able to.
* share editing resources (motion graphics templates, intros, assets) with other team members. Hoarding slows everyone down.
* identify potential challenges early and communicate solutions before they become problems.
* provide feedback on raw footage to the production team so future shoots give you better material to work with.
* collaborate with team members to create engaging promotional content from long-form edits.
* contribute to data collection, video retention graphs, and post-mortem reviews for continuous improvement.
* offer constructive revision feedback to other editors on their work.
* monitor client channels for performance metrics and optimization opportunities.
requirements
* minimum 2-3 years of professional editing experience. A portfolio showcasing your best work is required.
* strong proficiency in davinci resolve. Familiarity with adobe premiere pro and after effects is a plus.
* you'll work in davinci resolve, frame.io, notion, and dropbox daily. You don't need to be an expert in all of them on day 1 but you need to learn fast.
* solid foundation in motion graphics, or a willingness to learn fast and integrate on-brand graphics quickly.
* you can balance speed and quality. We ship weekly. Every video needs to meet brand standards and hit deadline.
* you take feedback well and give it well. Revisions are part of the process, not a personal attack.
* you experiment with new tools, workflows, and approaches without being asked.
results
* 90%+ on-time delivery rate. Every month, 90% or more of your videos hit deadline.
* 3 videos delivered per week (12+ per month) once fully ramped.
* 90%+ manager approval rate on v1 submissions. Your first drafts come back with minor notes, not major revisions.
* 90%+ client approval rate on final videos. Clients approve with minimal or no revisions.
* maintain strong retention and watch time metrics across your edits. If average retention is dropping, you're the first one diagnosing why.
* support a consistent publishing cadence by maintaining a healthy backlog of ready-to-go content. The pipeline should never be empty because of you.
* contribute to growing client channels toward 100-1,000 subscribers per month and 5-50+ leads per month per client.

compensation
$24,000 to $36,000+ usd/year. Pay based on volume output, skill, and experience. All positions start with a 60-day paid trial to ensure mutual fit.
