job overview: responsible for evaluating and mitigating credit risk, managing the risk team, and implementing risk management strategies and policies.
* oversee end‑to‑end delivery of credit & risk management services for the latam region.
* assess solvency of new and existing customers through analysis of financial statements, banking references, payment history, and credit bureau data.
* set credit limits and terms, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain customer credit profiles.
* monitor and release orders with payment delays or exceeded credit limits; make high‑level decisions on order releases.
* automate credit operations and improve efficiency through technology and process enhancements.
* provide training on policies, procedures, and controls; support internal customer inquiries.
* hire, train, and develop team members; set performance goals and lead a high‑performing team.
delivery & strategy: collaborate with sr manager order to cash latam and director, gdl shared services to align credit policies with business needs, customer experience, and risk appetite.
* report monthly performance to key business partners.
* identify process improvements for the steering committee.
* implement enhancements to streamline processes.
monitoring & reporting: ensure adherence to slas, produce performance reports, track system/process issues, and enforce sox compliance.
* manage risk appetite kpis and provide analytical reports on the customer portfolio.
* support audits, remediation, and compliance with laws and regulations.
process improvement & project management: lead initiatives to improve processes via rpa, lean, and six sigma. Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
stakeholder relationships: build partnerships with gbs stakeholders across go‑to‑market, finance, and corporate, facilitating resolution of issues and driving growth.
team leadership: support career development of team members.

* conduct daily collections tasks and negotiate payment plans.
* handle a/r disputes and work with reconciliation associates.
* manage credit exposure: review order releases, set limits, and identify bad debt.
* implement process improvements and establish best‑practice collection approaches.
requirements: 4‑year degree, 3–5 years of related experience (incl. 2+ years of leadership), excellent communication in english, negotiation skills, excel proficiency. Knowledge of oracle and d&b a plus.
