We are looking for a proactive and experienced automation manager to lead the automation initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems and processes to increase production efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and enhance product quality.

key responsibilities:
* plan, develop, and implement automation projects aligned with production goals and cost -efficiency targets
* manage and supervise the automation team, ensuring proper training, task allocation, and performance evaluations
* monitor and improve automated systems to optimize uptime and reduce downtime
* analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for automation and improvement
* ensure the integration of new automated systems into existing operations
* coordinate with suppliers and integrators for equipment procurement and installation
* maintain up -to -date documentation of automation systems, schematics, and programs
* ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards
* stay current with technological advancements and recommend new automation tools and methods
* provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams for troubleshooting issues
requirements
* bachelor's degree in automation engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field
* 5–7 years of experience in automation in a manufacturing or industrial setting
* hands -on experience with plc/hmi/scada systems (siemens, rockwell, etc.)
* project management experience is a plus
* knowledge of industrial communication protocols (ethernet/ip, modbus, profinet)
* fluent in english (spanish is a plus)
* strong understanding of industrial safety systems and standards
* ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
