Overview / responsibilities:
wood is currently seeking a project adminstrative assistant to support our engineering project management team in mexico city.
a great opportunity if interested in a career in administration and project management.
the project administrative assistant is responsible for providing normal clerical services for the project team.
duties include:
- set up and maintain the project filing system
- coordinate administrative services for the project
- assign numbers and maintain logs for project correspondence
- administrate and update the project distribution list
- develop and coordinate all correspondence within the project team
- prepare the project file records for storage
- schedule conference rooms for meetings
- schedule flights and reservations
- prepare quallity dossier
skills / qualifications:
- recent grauduate from a administration / engineering bachelors degree or equivalent related
- preferably up to 1 year project management or administrative support experience working in a fast-paced, multitasking
- environment
- proficiency in microsoft project, word, outlook and excel required
- organized self-starter, detail oriented, proactive individual who takes ownership of a project
- excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills in both english and spanish
- demonstrated ability to work in team situations with multiple priorities
- ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in an appropriate manner
- ability to operate basic office equipment
- able to lift 30 lbs.

- able to sit for long periods of time without painful stress or injury
- previous experience working at an engineering, construction or architectural firm a plus
- must be able to work 8:00-18:00 monday - friday
