Determines proper quantities of materials (resins, inserts, packaging etc.) and establishes deliveries
to meet the production schedule, using mrp, machine run time, and knowledge ofother relevant facts.

Works with material warehouse team members to assure accurate inventory counts andreceiving

Establishes and monitors inventory processes, including kanbans, vmi, pull/lean and consignment
programs with vendors. Monitors inventory value and continually work to reduce
levels without interrupting service to the plant
participates in all functions of year-end inventory.
Makes recommendations to management regarding vendor performance.
Contributes to the development & implementation of planning & acquisition processes as well aspurchasing
req's, purchases, & procedures.
Interacts with external & internal customers regarding requests, prices, orders, delivery &related
aspects.
Works on appropriate teams & projects as they develop.
Works closely with appropriate teams, in the development and engagement of sourcing
strategies.
Comply with the sgc documents.
Participate in the fulfillment of internal audits and corrective and preventive actions.
Support the continuous improvement of its activities.
Comply with the requirements of the sgc, and participate in improvement projects towards respect for the
environment.
Know significant environmental aspects.
Know objectives and goals of the sgc.
Minimum bachelors degree in production operations management or related coursework, from4-year
college or university with at least 3 years of related experience (i.e. purchasing, customer service or
production scheduling); or 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience. Apics certification strongly preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (at all levels both internally and externally). Ability to
read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures,
contracts or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure
manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respondto questions from groups of managers,
clients, customers, and the general public.
Demonstrates a professional and mature demeanor at all times, working in a positive and professional
