the regional sales manager is responsible for overseeing and driving sales efforts with a focus on selling products and solutions to original equipment manufacturers (oems). This position involves cultivating relationships with key clients and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, leadership skills, experience with oem sales, and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue growth in the region.
key responsibilities:
 * develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
 * build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the region.
 * track regional sales performance against targets, analyze results, and adjust strategies as necessary to meet or exceed goals.
 * stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and market potential.
 * provide regular reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and forecasts to senior management.
 * oversee the regional sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve maximum sales output.
 * work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on sales campaigns and customer satisfaction.
qualifications:
 * bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
 * 5+ years of sales experience
 * 2+ years in sales in consumable materials required
 * experience selling to electronic assembly plants (ex. Smt or pcba) required
 * bilingual – english / spanish required
 * strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
 * proficient in crm software and sales reporting tools.
 * ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
