role
general ledger accounting: this role is responsible for multiple accounting tasks that comprise:
* journal entries: record daily, weekly and monthly journal entries across different entities.
* payroll: support payroll activities to ensure correct payments and internal control processes are followed. Work with internal and external stakeholders for social security compliance.
* taxes: prepares workpapers for external fiscal consultants for tax compliance.
* financial reporting: prepares financial reports and their support schedules.
* statutory audit: prepares multiple work papers and supports for external and internal auditors.
who are you?
this position requires a college level degree in accounting or finance candidate with at least 1 year of experience, preferably in a global company and multiple time zones, fluent in english. The following skills and knowledge are also desired:
* experience with accounting software programs, erps (such as peoplesoft, sap, etc.)
* microsoft office (excel, word, outlook)
* good communication skills, proactiveness, independence and team spirit
* full time job
important:
* this role is based in leon, guanajuato and follows a hybrid working arrangement of three days on-site in our refugio campestre office and two days remote (work from home). No exceptions will be made to this working arrangement.
