*knowledge/experience*:
- 5+ year software development of hands-on experience
- 5+ years of overall relevant experience
- experience with full project life cycle from establishing requirements through delivery and production
- ability to perform detailed analysis of business requirements and translate into appropriate technical solution
- ability to lead a team of developers to deliver integrated system components in a seamless manner with expected quality
- ability to provide analysis, program coding, debugging and testing in the ibm mainframe environment is the pre-requisite
- ability to demonstrate a wide range of skill levels within mainframe and distributed architecture.
well versed with 3 tier architecture/component layer architecture
- excellent technical working knowledge in ibm mainframe environment.
- proficient in z/os, vsam, cobol/cics programming, ibm job control language (jcl), db2 programming is the prerequisite.
- good working knowledge including tso/ispf and changeman version control.
- experience with data conversion / migration
- preferred would be a technician with knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of the core areas of:
- java tech stack (java, jdk, jsp).
experience with git, bitbucket, jenkins, and rlm is a plus
- proficiency with oracle pl/sql, sql tuning, writing packages, triggers, functions and procedures.
- infra expertise of the systems - websphere, his or tomcat, apache
- distributed technologies: unix/linux, autosys, mq
- connect direct and other file transfer products,
- familiar and working experience in agile methodology and sdlc process
