job summary
we are seeking a meticulous and reliable assistant controller to manage all aspects of financial data entry. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately and efficiently input financial transaction data from various bank statements intoquickbooks desktop. This position is basedon-site at our offices, and is ideal for a professional with a strong background in bookkeeping and a commitment to maintaining impeccable financial records.
key responsibilities
* data entry:accurately and efficiently enter transaction data from pdf bank statements into quickbooks desktop.
* verification & reconciliation:review and verify all entries for completeness and correctness; assist with account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
* record keeping:maintain organized and systematic records of all processed statements and supporting financial documents.
* administrative support:perform additional administrative and accounting-related tasks as assigned by the controller or management team.
required skills & qualifications
* experience:minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
* technical proficiency:
* required:high proficiency and hands-on experience withquickbooks desktop.
* required:strong ability to work with pdf documents and efficiently extract relevant data.
* attention to detail:exceptional accuracy in data entry and record-keeping is a must.
* organizational skills:proven ability to manage multiple statements, prioritize tasks, and meet established deadlines.
* availability:ability to workfull-time on-sitein guatemala city.
