Local team lead ds
local ds team lead role summary: the local ds team lead is responsible for overseeing the day - to - day operations of the local it /ot team, ensuring efficient and effective support for all it /ot - related issues within the organization. This role involves managing a team of it /ot technicians, coordinating it /ot projects, and maintaining the local it /ot infrastructure. The local it team lead will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless it /ot service delivery. He, as well as his team also is part of the global support and project teams and will support globally where needed.
key responsibilities
* lead and manage the local it team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
* coordinate and prioritize it /ot support requests to ensure timely resolution.
* oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of local and global it /ot equipment and systems.
* monitor and manage local and global it /ot infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
* collaborate with other departments to understand their it /ot needs and provide appropriate solutions.
* take over project lead for strategic project on a local and international level.
* collaborate with the international it team to ensure the functioning, maintenance and support of the global dt environment and the local installation in other sites (remotely).
* ensure compliance with it /ot policies, procedures, and best practices.
* conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
* document and track it /ot issues and resolutions using the organization's ticketing system.
* plan and execute it /ot projects and initiatives to improve technology systems and processes.
* global technical support
* provide first - and second - line support globally for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other it/ot equipment.
* troubleshoot and resolve issues globally related to operating systems, business applications, hardware and network connectivity.
* stay updated with the latest it /ot trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
* proven experience in it /ot support or a similar role, with leadership experience preferred.
* strong knowledge of it /ot systems, hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
* excellent problem - solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* ability to lead and motivate a team.
* familiarity with itil or other it /ot service management frameworks is a plus.
* certifications such as comptia a+, network+, or similar are advantageous.
* sap knowledge would be a plus
* proficient in local language and english is a must
