Tcs is looking for a aws infrastructure engineer
work modality: hybrid
(candidate needs to be located or relocate to querétaro, cdmx, guadalajara or monterrey, it will be requested to attend office at least 3 day per week)
position overview
the ideal candidate will have good experience working with aws and should be well-versed in designing and implementing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems in a software development environment.
experience with infrastructure-as-code and containerization technologies for deploying and managing web frameworks in a production environment is required.
key activities
* take ownership of performance and issues in production and implement solutions
* design and implement aws infrastructure using infra-as-code techniques with services such as ecs, ec2, iam, rds, sns, and sqs
* design and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (ci/cd) pipelines
* maintain security and compliance of all aws resources based on the nist framework
* collaborate with development team to understand their requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs
required experience
* advanced english (mandatory)
* extensive experience with aws services including ecs, ec2, rds, iam, and s3
* extensive experience with terraform and deploying infrastructure-as-code
* experience deploying and optimizing web applications and frameworks
* experience with nist 800-53 security controls and/or fedramp
* experience with docker and containerizing applications
* understanding of networking concepts and experience with vpc, security groups, and application load balancers
* experience with ci/cd tools such as jenkins or github
* strong knowledge of linux/unix administration
