- lead and manage logistics, shipping and supply chain projects from concept to completion, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- analyze current logistics and shipping processes and systems to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- design and implement solutions that optimize warehousing, material handling, shipping, transportation, and distribution operations.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, quality, and it to ensure project alignment with business goals.
- coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3pl), carriers, and vendors to support project implementation and daily operations.
- support the introduction of automation and digital tools (wms, tms, erp) to enhance logistics performance.
- conduct time studies, layout planning, and flow analysis to support continuous improvement.
- monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- train and support staff on new processes, tools, and systems introduced as part of logistics initiatives.
experiência y requisitos
- bachelor's degree
- english (advanced)
- 2+ years experience in the analysis of industrial processes, process and material flow, and human factors interaction.
- demonstrated ability to evaluate multiple concepts, through empirical and projective analysis
- strong communication and presentation skills to summarize and present recommendations and concepts for management approval.
- knowledge of six sigma and lean manufacturing.
