descripción del empleo
to plan, coordinate, and optimize logistics, storage, and distribution processes within the furniture warehouse. Ensure product availability, efficient use of warehouse space, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.
key responsibilities:
* develop and maintain supply and distribution plans aligned with product demand.
* optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize storage capacity.
* coordinate with procurement, production, and sales departments to align inventory levels and delivery schedules.
* create inventory planning models to ensure optimal stock levels.
* monitor and ensure compliance with receiving, storage, and dispatch schedules.
* analyze historical sales, returns, and inventory movement data to improve forecasting accuracy.
* identify and implement logistics process improvements using lean or six sigma methodologies.
* define and track key performance indicators (kpis) to assess operational efficiency.
* support the implementation and improvement of erp/wms systems for warehouse management
requisitos
requirements:
* bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, logistics, mechanical engineering, or related field.
* minimum 2–3 years of experience in logistics or production planning, preferably in retail or furniture industry.
* solid knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes.
* proficiency in planning tools (advanced excel, erp systems, wms platforms).
* strong analytical skills, results-driven, and team-oriented.
preferred skills:
* certifications in logistics or continuous improvement (e.g., apics, lean, six sigma).
* experience with systems such as sap, oracle netsuite, or similar.
* project management skills and experience leading warehouse optimization initiatives.
