About the Job
We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Record to Report Transformation Lead to oversee and drive strategic, large scale transformation initiatives in line with the Company´s overall goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Business Acumen:
- Provides recommendations to business stakeholders to solve complex problems
- Develops business cases for projects with a projected return on investment or cost savings
- Demonstrates deep functional knowledge of the business unit/organization being supported
- Translates customer requirements into projects, activities and tasks aligned with the overall business strategy
- Connects the customer needs with tangible solutions and results
- Recommends new processes and ways of working
Process Design and Implementation
- Analyzes a process, and the relevant business logic, and provides recommendations based on the analysis
- Performs business process design tasks with some level of supervision and training
- Documents obstacles and barriers to effective implementation
Automation Design
- Identifies areas with potential for automation and evaluates relevant tasks to confirm feasibility
- Gains insight into alternative automation solutions
- Identifies problems and provides solutions to problems related to automation
Automation Integration:
- Collaborates with teams to measure and manage project performance
- Documents implementation plans and project estimates
- Document project implementation meetings, particularly status reports on next steps
- Participates in the development of technological interfaces and systems
- Measures and compares results against established test criteria
Project Management:
- Assures open communication between project participants and stakeholders
- Identifies project risks and vulnerabilities
- Creates contigency plans
- Conducts periodic and ad hoc project reviews with project teams, sponsors and clients
- Plans, estimates, staffs, organizes and monitors critical projects
- Creates monitoring and control mechanisms.
Continuous Improvement:
- Streamlines critical workflows to execute key processes
- Develops methods to improve and establish controls
- Establishes priorities to address process issues that limit performance
- Develops scenarios for various system interventions that can be tested, refined, and implemented over time
- Facilitates a culture of continuous improvement and widespread systemic thinking
- Analyzes the findings of improvement cycles to ensure the success of interventions
- Clarifies the cause/effect relationships between the factors that impact the organization's performance
Influence and Communication:
- Presents and influence teams and customers by conveying complex information clearly and accurately and addressing ambiguity in a constructive manner
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Systems Engineering, Mecatronics, Accounting or related fields
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management related to automation, digitalization and technology (as Project Manager or Subject Matter Expert).
- Minimum of 5 years´ experience in Accounting Record to Report processes for Financial-Accounting Service Centers
- English Level Advanced C1
- Analytical Skills: ability to analyze complex data and identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Project Management: strong project management skills to oversee the implementation and improvement of the process
- Communication: excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and Senior Leaders effectively
- Leadership: ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change within the organization.
- Problem-Solving: strong problem-solving skills to address process-related challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Technical Proficiency: knowledge of relevant tools and technologies used in process management and improvement (e.g., BPM software, data analysis tools)
