Responsibilities
lead and mentor a team of it professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Manage the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network infrastructure, including servers, workstations, storage, and communication systems.
Oversee the resolution of complex technical issues and provide advanced troubleshooting support for it systems and applications.
Develop and implement it policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data integrity, security, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements, propose solutions, and support it-related projects from inception to completion.
Manage it budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement processes for hardware, software, and services.
Ensure compliance with jabil's it security policies, industry regulations, and data privacy standards.
Conduct regular system performance monitoring, capacity planning, and disaster recovery planning.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and benefit to jabil.
Prepare and present reports on it performance, project status, and key metrics to management.
Qualifications
bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in information technology, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Proven experience managing complex it infrastructure, including servers (windows/linux), networking (lan/wan, firewalls, vpn), virtualization (vmware, hyper‑v), and cloud platforms (azure, aws).
Strong understanding of it security principles, best practices, and compliance frameworks (e.g., iso 27001, nist).
Experience with it service management frameworks (e.g., itil) and ticketing systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated project management skills and experience leading it initiatives.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., pmp, ccna, mcsa, itil) are a plus.
Ability to travel occasionally as required.
