Key responsibilities:
* coordinate with procurement, site quality and category manager organizations to facilitate growth & quality improvements at preferred suppliers.
* qualify new ems suppliers through the honeywell supplier common assessment (hsc).
* qualify new suppliers for other commodities, plastics, machining, stamping, casting etc.
* responsible for part and product approval process according to ppap during npi and transition.
* validate the ppap process onsite at suppliers.
* monitor and report on supplier productivity performance and initiatives to improve.
* interface with suppliers, quality, operations, engineering and procurement organizations to drive quality improvements.
* drive root cause analysis and corrective actions process of supplier major quality issues.
* use data analytics to identify key areas for improvement.
* responsible for other duties and tasks as directed by management.
* lead cross-functional teams for new supplier qualification and first article qualification.
you must have:
* bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
* 3+ year experience in ppap process.
* strong technical background in electronic manufacturing services (ems).
* knowledge of printed circuit board assembly (pcba) process including functional testers.
* self-motivated, able to work independently and solve complex problems.
* effective problem solving and root cause analytical skills to lead and influence others.
* available for travel and willing to relocate.
* fluent english proficiency.
