we are looking for an hr manager to lead the people & leadership agenda with full ownership of compliance, culture, and business partnership, playing a critical role in shaping a high-performing, ethical, and people-centered organization.
your mission and role
in this role, you will:
* lead and execute the hr strategy in mexico aligned with epiroc’s people & leadership direction and business goals.
* build a high-performing, inclusive, and legally compliant workplace, acting as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees.
* strengthen employee experience and culture by promoting a psychologically safe, respectful environment and reinforcing company values.
key responsibilities
build a compliant, high-performing and people-centered organization by focusing on:
compliance, ethics & labor relations
* ensure full compliance with mexican labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards.
* lead labor relations, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation; maintain audit-ready hr documentation.
hr strategy & business partnership
* develop and execute the local people & leadership strategy; translate global direction into local impact.
* support leaders in building engaged, high-performing teams; lead talent processes across the employee lifecycle (in partnership with our regional center of excellence where applicable).
operational excellence
* improve hr processes using data, digital tools, and automation; implement kpis and proactive follow-up.
you and your skills
* 10+ years of broad hr experience, including senior hr leadership responsibilities.
* strong expertise in mexican labor law, employee relations, and compliant hr practices.
* proven ability to partner with leadership teams and deliver measurable business outcomes through hr strategy.
* strong data-driven mindset (kpis, trends, workforce planning) and comfort with hris / digital tools.
* high integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism.

location and travel
this position is based in the polanco area in mexico city. We have a hybrid model that requires every employee to be at the office at least 3 days per week.
this role requires approximately 40% travel, primarily to zacatecas.
