Overview
the fp&a & marketing finance jr. Manager plays a critical role in driving financial planning and business performance for the mexico business, partnering with the finance director to steer the company's p&l from volume to efo and drive business performance. The role goes beyond financial analysis. It is a central position responsible for leading end‐to‐end financial planning, ensuring strong governance of marketing and structure investments, and providing clear visibility on the key drivers of business performance. Acting as a trusted finance partner to the leadership team, the role translates financial insights into strategic actions, influencing key business decisions and ensuring alignment between financial outcomes and commercial priorities, while partnering closely with the marketing organization to drive disciplined and value‐accretive a&p investments.
responsibilities
lead end‐to‐end financial planning across the business, owning forecast, ibp and annual plan, ensuring alignment between strategic priorities and financial outcomes.
own and steer the company's p&l performance from volume to efo, providing clear visibility on key drivers, risks and opportunities.
drive performance management across the business, translating financial results into actionable insights and influencing decision making at leadership team level.
own governance and optimization of structure investments, ensuring disciplined cost management and alignment with business priorities.
act as the finance lead for marketing, driving rigorous evaluation of a&p investments and ensuring strong return and alignment with brand strategy.
influence cross‐functional stakeholders across marketing, sales, rgm and supply to align financial targets with commercial execution.
drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting and analytics, enhancing visibility, speed and quality of decision making.
lead and develop the fp&a & marketing finance analyst, building strong analytical capabilities and a high‐performance mindset, and develop talent and capability.
build and scale strong analytical and business partnering capabilities within the team, enabling better and faster decision making.
position finance as a strategic partner to the business, strengthening influence across marketing and cross‐functional stakeholders.
drive a high‐performance culture, fostering ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.
skills
~ experience
~ bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, actuarial science or related field.
~5 to 8 years of experience in fp&a, commercial finance, marketing finance or similar roles.
~ experience in fmcg or consumer goods industry within multinational and matrix organizations preferred.
~ proven track record of driving business impact through financial planning and performance management.

technical capabilities
strong capability to translate financial data into clear business actions influencing decision making.
ability to evaluate and optimize investments, ensuring disciplined allocation of resources and strong return on investment.
advanced analytical and modelling skills, with proficiency in excel and experience working with sap and power bi.
leadership & soft skills
strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge and shape decision making at senior leadership level.
ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for non‐financial stakeholders.
strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of commercial drivers and how they translate into financial performance.
ability to operate in complex and fast‐paced environments, managing ambiguity, prioritizing effectively and driving results.
languages
english: advanced (mandatory), with the ability to communicate effectively in a business and senior stakeholder environment.
