Resideo seeks a sr pricing and profit specialist to create business reporting and give meaningful insights about pricing and profit performance kpis. The role will support different business units across international operations, focusing on dynamic pricing management, web performance, and exclusive brands expansion.
the sr pricing and profit specialist will be directly reporting to the pricing analytics manager but should be capable to work and understand the needs and goals of different teams that will need the analytical support.
you should have a solid background in data analytics technologies skills and a high understanding of business models and operations. As a senior role, you should be capable of being accountable for the work and tasks that are being developed, with minimal validation/reviewing from management. You should also have good time management and organization skills to enable fast response times.
job duties:
* create sql/snowflake coding to retrieve data for the reporting.
* develop business intelligence reports with power bi and ssrs, along other bi tools.
* understand the information and give meaningful insights to the related business units.
* prevent, detect and correct data errors across different sources, such as erps and other data management systems.
* software development using python and .net framework.
* outlier detection, business recommendation and resolution.
you must have:
* over 4 years of experience in data analytics supporting business operations, or relevant experience in fields such as computer science, data analytics, data science, or information technologies.
* conversational level english to effectively communicate within the team and across departments.
* proficient in sql, including the ability to create stored procedures and work with relational databases.
* expertise in using aggregate functions within sql to analyze and summarize data.
* advanced skills in excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas to support business insights.
