Job title: data governance enablement analyst location: latam about the role we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our client's team in the data governance sector. In this role, you will contribute to configuring, scaling, and driving adoption of the enterprise data catalogue, ensuring data is discoverable, trusted, and well-defined, and operationalizing data governance by embedding it into daily workflows. Responsibilities configure and administer atlan assets, including datasets, tables, dashboards, metrics, and glossary terms. Design and maintain business glossaries, taxonomies, domains, and critical data elements (cdes). Coordinate automated metadata ingestion from modern data platforms and validate end-to-end lineage. Serve as a primary point of contact for business data stewards and analytics users. Requirements 3 to 5 years of experience in data governance, data enablement, or data operations. Hands‑on experience configuring or administering atlan or similar platforms. Strong understanding of modern data stacks and practical experience with business glossaries, metadata, and stewardship models. Ability to work directly with both business and technical stakeholders. Preferred qualifications experience supporting databricks, snowflake, power bi, ssrs, tableau, or looker. Familiarity with data quality, privacy, or regulatory concepts. Exposure to apis, sql, python, or metadata automation.
