responsibilities include selling guest rooms and hyatt services to transient market customers through wholesale accounts, travel agencies, ttoo, and other key accounts.
duties include managing current accounts, establishing and executing business plan for international and domestic wholesalers, action planning marketing opportunities, establishing optimal average rates, achieving market share goals, competitive analysis, and may include travel to major cities within market.duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, presentations, contracts, maintaining well-organized documentation and reports, utilization of hyatt technology systems and coordination of customer service requirements with hotel operations staff as appropriate.
the wholesale sales manager will participate in sales and other staff meetings.

*qualifications*:we are looking for individuals that demonstrate the following attributes- a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment- refined verbal and written communication skills in english and spanish required- a minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience- must be proficient in general computer and microsoft office knowledge- prefer selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training- community involvement and/or professional association is highly regarded- must speak english and spanish
