job summary
the sales manager will lead sales growth by acquiring new clients, expanding market share, and building a strong, high-performing sales team. This role requires a passionate sales leader who leads by example, consistently demonstrates a relentless drive to win, and knows how to build, coach, and scale a book of business. You will oversee sales operations, develop strategic partnerships, and ensure revenue targets are achieved and exceeded.
key responsibilities
* drive new business development and aggressively acquire new clients
* build, grow, and manage a book of business in the industrial, electronics, and mro markets
* lead by example with a hunter mentality and passion for sales excellence
* mentor, coach, and train the sales team to strengthen performance and results
* develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives
* identify market opportunities and establish strategic partnerships
* manage key accounts and ensure high customer satisfaction
* analyze kpis, sales trends, and market data to inform decision-making
* promote a high-performance sales culture focused on discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement
* collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership to support commercial strategy
requirements
* bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field
* minimum of 5 years of b2b sales experience in the industrial, electronics, or mro sector, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
* proven success in hunting, acquiring new clients, and growing a revenue-producing book of business
* demonstrated ability to coach, train, and elevate sales teams
* strong leadership presence with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach
* relentless drive, competitive mindset, and passion for sales
* excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
* fluency in english; additional languages (portuguese, french, italian, german) are an advantage
* data-driven decision-making, kpi focus, and strong crm discipline
