the retail business services group is an integral part of amazon's online product lifecycle and buying operations. The team aims to ensure amazon remains competitive in the online retail space by offering the best prices, a wide selection, and comprehensive product information. The programs managed by this group directly influence customer purchasing decisions and enhance the online user experience.
rbs has launched a new program to expand vendor management worldwide and is seeking dynamic and talented associates to help implement this program in mexico. Associates will develop business relationships with vendors and provide operational support to both vendors and vendor managers.
key job responsibilities
1. this position is for a catalog lead within the merchandising team, primarily supporting amazon events and marketing campaigns.
2. work with vendors to ensure they operate efficiently using our tools.
3. drive operational metrics effectively, meet slas, and surpass business goals by engaging with vendors and internal partners in mexico.
4. suggest process improvements and assist internal teams in executing them (e.g., kaizen projects).
5. perform tasks aimed at increasing product selection, reducing defects, boosting revenue, and lowering costs for customers.
basic qualifications
* bachelor's degree
* experience with microsoft office applications
* 6-12 months of professional experience
* fluent in both spanish and english, written and spoken
preferred qualifications
* over 1 year of sales or account management experience
