we are seeking an operations it business analyst to join our ops it global biologics team at astrazeneca. This role involves performing business analysis and design either alone delivering small to medium size business change activities or as a part of the ba team in a large or global business change.
responsibilities
the operations it business analyst will partner with sr. Business partners/business partners, taking responsibility to deliver high quality business cases, business process designs and ensure that proposed solutions meet established astrazeneca quality and compliance standards and business solution needs. As a business analyst, you will be expected to understand and prioritize business requirements from multiple stakeholders, interpret business requirements and simplify them for easy analysis, solution design and decision making. You will provide insight & innovation to projects within your specialist area, aligning to az it strategy and working with az it partners. You will also facilitate and lead design sessions with the business and implementation team to identify functional and technical requirements. Your role will involve defining project scope and goals for large cross functional, strategic & complex projects that deliver or support delivery of effective solutions. You will also be responsible for communicating with the relevant stakeholders and transfer relevant knowledge to delivery teams.
essential skills/experience
* 10+ years of overall experience, with 8 years of relevant business analysis & project management experience
* proven experience of successfully deploying a variety of business analysis tools/techniques to enable business change
* proven experience of successfully participating in it projects end to end, both waterfall and agile
* proven experience of working with complex integrated systems
* strong engagement, communication and stakeholder management skills, including excellent presentation and influencing skills
* experience of working in a regulated environment
* experience of virtual collaboration to lead, shape and develop innovative solutions
* experience of working with and managing third party suppliers/vendors
desirable skills/experience
* degree in relevant discipline or formal certification in business analysis practice
* lean six sigma training/certification
* practical usage of agile methodology
* experience of working in a general organization with complex/geographical context
* pharmaceutical business awareness/business domain knowledge
* cross industry business awareness/business domain knowledge
* experience in cell therapy setting
strong english communication skills required
