Controls engineer is responsible for developing, supporting, testing and managing application software, which is used to monitor and control daikin minisplits, over its entire life-cycle.
fundamental skills and experience in reliable controls development for complex hvac products, including a high level of appreciation for refrigeration systems and the fundamentals of thermodynamics/fluid principles, are required for this position, as well mandatory knowledge of main controls technology and its relevant application.activities: maintaining, troubleshooting, and debugging existing control software by collaborating with multi-location team to ensure the controls perform according to requirements.provide support to testing engineer during intertek/in house tests.support development of functional test plans and test cases for requirements validation during the integration of components comprising the control system to ensure performance meets requirements.actively participate in process improvement activities to improve the quality of the products delivered by daikin.track and review implementation of component designs to ensure that components meet overall requirements identified in the system and subsystem.requirements: bachelor's degree in electronics, mechatronics, computer science, software engineering, or related field of study.4+ years of experience in controlsadvanced english level matlab/simulink knowledge.
iec 61131-3 knowledge (desirable).
