        Project objective:
design structures with high-performance concrete reinforced with fibers.
semester(s):
5th – 10th semester, preferably a master's student in structural engineering
careers of interest:
civil engineering – structural engineering
schedule availability:
between 25 and 30 hours a week
challenges for the student:
learn and/or deepen programming languages and specialized software. Find technological solutions to solve problems during development (e.g., using apis to connect external software to the cemex platform). Meet delivery deadlines.
main responsibilities and activities to be carried out:
write programming code, register each order or new project, store information in the designated databases, interact with other company members who will validate the designs and simulations developed by the intern. Model each project in the required software. Assist in the required experimentation in the structural laboratory for the analysis of the behavior of fiber-reinforced concrete structures.
specific requirements/qualifications/skills, competencies and/or knowledge required:
(to be modified according to the needs and competences that are required)
 * proficiency in programming languages (e.g., python, csharp, javascript, etc.)
 * teamwork
 * proficiency in english (mandatory, min. B1 according to the european framework)
 * remote interaction with other people
 * knowledge of reinforced concrete structure design and structural engineering and specialized software (e.g., sap2000, etabs, etc.)
 * knowledge of bim (building information modelling) methodology – (e.g., revit, tekla structures, etc.)
