A mean stack developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full‑stack web applications using the mean technology stack — mongodb, express.js, angular, and node.js. The role focuses on building scalable, high‑performance applications with seamless front‑end and back‑end integration.
key responsibilities
* design, develop, test, and deploy end‑to‑end web applications using the mean stack.
* build restful apis and backend services using node.js and express.js.
* develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces using angular.
* design and manage mongodb databases, including schema design and performance optimization.
* integrate third‑party services and apis.
* collaborate with product owners, ux designers, and qa teams.
* ensure application security, scalability, and performance.
* perform code reviews and maintain coding standards.
* troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
required skills & experience
* 5 - 8 yoe strong hands‑on experience with mongodb, express.js, angular, and node.js.
* 5 - 8 yoe experience with rest apis, json, and asynchronous programming.
* good understanding of frontend frameworks, html5, css3.
* experience with git and ci/cd pipelines.
* knowledge of authentication, authorization, and web security best practices.
good to have
* experience with cloud platforms (azure / aws / gcp).
* exposure to microservices architecture.
* knowledge of devops practices and containerization (docker, kubernetes).
* familiarity with ai‑enabled or data‑driven applications.
